I’m Nehita and I am a Biomedical Sciences graduate from UCL. Throughout my undergraduate degree, I had an interest in understanding the genetic causes of diseases, specifically the genetics of rare diseases and cancer. This autumn, I will be starting a master’s programme in Human Molecular Genetics.
Through this internship I hope to gain experience in using health data to improve policies, reduce inequalities and improve public health. I am excited to learn new skills, such as coding, through the project I will be working on.
